We refer to the article that appeared on the front page of The Nation Newspaper on Monday 07th April 2015 titled “MPs SET TERMS FOR MSB DEAL”. The newspaper article stated, among other things, that Smallholder Farmers Fertilizer Revolving Fund of Malawi (SFFRFM) has outstanding debts with Malawi Savings Bank.
The Management of SFFRFM would like to refute the newspaper article as published in so far as it concerns SFFRFM. SFFRFM does not owe Malawi Savings Bank any money. It is not correct that SFFRFM has outstanding debts with Malawi Savings Bank as portrayed in the stated newspaper article.
